Location

TSLP and MSPCD summer programs are set in the picturesque alpine village of Château-d’Oex in the heart of French-speaking Switzerland in the canton of Vaud. A village of 3,000 inhabitants, Château-d’Oex features a charming center filled with cafés, restaurants, bakeries, boutiques, and a medieval church perched above the town. Students, counselors, and teachers all live, eat, and have classes in three classic alpine chalets located just minutes from the downtown area. Châlet rooms offer breathtaking views of the surrounding Gstaad Valley and the Swiss Alps just outside our doors. This program is especially appealing to students who seek a country setting blended with exposure to local Swiss culture and city tours. By the end of our program students will know each other well and will feel at home in the village.
