TASIS offers three distinct Summer Programs on its Lugano campus :
TASIS Summer Program (TSP) offers students, ages 14 - 18, French, Italian, Musical Theater, English, Digital Photography, Drawing & Painting Ticino, Architecture & Design, Fashion and Textiles Design, AC Milan Soccer, and the Armani Junior Basketball Camp. Academic subjects are balanced with recreational activities and free time for boarding and day students. Classes generally meet through the morning with afternoons filled with an array of sports and activities like: soccer, basketball, tennis, volleyball, swimming, sailing, windsurfing, dance, music, photography and studio art. Weekend excursions are offered to locations throughout Switzerland and Italy. Optional extended weekend trips to distant citites such as Paris and Rome are also available.
The Middle School Program (MSP) offers students, ages 11 - 13, structured language learning in French or English as an Additional Language, Musical Theater, AC Milan Soccer, and the Armani Junior Basketball Camp. The MS Program is designed to challenge students academically and socially during this special transitional age. Classes meet in the mornings; afternoons are devoted to sports and activities like: musical drama, art, archery, horseback riding, rock climbing, mountain biking, windsurfing, waterskiing, tennis and soccer.
Le Château des Enfants (CDE) is an international, educational camp for children from all nations, backgrounds and cultures. It provides a unique blend of traditional camp activities for boarding (6 - 10 year old) and day (4+ - 10 year old) students with French, English and Italian-language learning in a warm, safe, and nurturing environment. With the experienced and caring support of American and bilingual international staff, our program encourages an interchange of experiences and customs among children. The program aims to help children develop greater independence and self-confidence in the context of a well-supervised and diverse community.
