Summer Programs in Puerto Rico

Ambassadors of the Environment

A unique dimension of the Program is its collaboration with Jean-Michel Cousteau’s Ambassadors of the Environment organization, located nearby at the Dorado Beach Ritz Carlton Reserve. By drawing on the immense natural resources at its doorstep and the expertise of experienced naturalists and oceanographers, TDSSP offers an introduction to the complexities of marine underwater worlds and tropical rainforests, which depend on a delicate balance for survival. Students learn about these precious endangered environments, and what can be done to protect them. The sustainability of these environments is crucial to the health of our planet, and the goal of this program is to educate our students about ecological issues and how to preserve and protect our important natural world.
