Language in Life

 The historic town of Salamanca becomes the classroom. As part of the academic day, students use what they learn in class in real life situations by participating in activities such as:

•      visiting open-air markets, art galleries, museums, churches, banks, the post office, the tourist bureau.

•      interviewing local people
      
•      ordering and enjoying a delicious variety of tapas

•      going on scavenger hunts

•      attending cooking demonstrations of traditional Spanish dishes

•      sharing churros y chocolate in the Plaza Mayor

•      learning flamenco dancing and traditional Spanish songs
