Excursions
Spain's rich cultural heritage is explored through course-related excursions. On-site lectures and Spanish language learning continue as the students travel to such memorable places as:
Avila – well-preserved, medieval walled town
Madrid - capital city and home of the incomparable El Prado Museum
Segovia – medieval city nestled among the foothills of the Sierra de Guardarrama.
La Alberca – picturesque mountain village known for its arts and crafts
Toledo – beautiful walled city and home of the famous painter El Greco
Daily excursions to beautiful Marbella, Granada, The Alhambra, Puerto Banus, Mijas, and the caves of Nerja take place during the optional final week on the Costa del Sol (for students aged 14-17).
